Ann Curry
Ann Curry is a photojournalist as well as a journalist, author and has covered conflict zones over the last 45 years. Her research focuses on human suffering as well as disasters. When she was 22, she became the station's first female reporter. Then she was promoted to anchoring and reporting for KGW which is an affiliate of NBC in Portland. Then, four years later she moved in Los Angeles and became a reporter for KCBS TV. She won 2 Emmy Awards during the six years she spent with this station.
